Bio

Dr. Stevic-Rust holds a Doctoral degree in psychology as well as a Masters degree in community counseling. She completed an internship at Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit Michigan with specialty training in clinical health psychology. She has been awarded a Diplomate from the American Board of Professional Psychology in Board Certified Clinical Health Psycology (ABPP). She has been a staff psychologist at the VA Medical Center in Cleveland from 1990-2004, on staff at Lake Hospital Systems since 1991 and she joined University Hospitals Extended Care Campus in 2001.

She started her own private practice in Willoughby in 1991 and served as the President for an online continuing education compnay, Ceu4u, Inc from 1998-2004 and is now a share holder in the company.

Over the past 17 years, she has provided consultation and coaching services to many individual leaders and organizations. Dr. Stevic-Rust's infectious enthusiasm, wealth of experience and sense of humor has afforded her the title of "best speaker" by many organizations. She has become a sought-after speaker on topics ranging from the effects of fear and insecurities on leadership, motivation and inspiration, fear of success, life balancing strategies, depression, Alzheimer's disease, and integrative medicine. She has been invited to speak at many state and local meetings and programs including the Ohio Association of Vascular and Pulmonary Rehabilitation, Midwest Cardiac Center, Diabetes Association of Cleveland, Lake Hospital Systems, Lakeland Community College, Cleveland State University, Cleveland Clinic Meridia Hospital, Lubrizol and the Lake County Bar Association.

With her desire to educate many about mental health concerns, she sought out opportunities to reach larger audences through the media. Her first television appearance was on the Morning Exchange back in 1991. The producers felt that one of Dr. Stevic-Rust's greatest strengths was her ability to communicate complex medical and psychological information in an understandable and user-friendly manner. She was invited back to do regular segments for the show as well as Live on 5 at WEWS Newschannel 5. She has subsequently gone on to become a regular on air media consultant and regular contributor on psychological topics for the Fox 8 News in the Morning, Newschannel 5, Q104 radio, WKYC Good Company, Good Morning Cleveland, NewsHerald, Women's World Magazine and Fitness Magazine. In addition, She also hosts a cable talk show entitled Best of Health where she features many of the community professionals.

Dr. Stevic-Rust took her passion for education to print and co-authored three books on health related topics, The Stop Smoking Workbook: Your Guide to Healthy Quitting; Treathing Depression in the Medically Ill and Heart Therapy: Regaining Your Cardiac Health. (Endorsed by Larry King from the Larry King Live Show). Her books are also published in Poland and India.

Dr. Stevic-Rust has become a leader in her community known for volunteering her services to many organizations. She has been involved in mentoring programs for young women and helping women who have been victims of violence regain their sense of self esteem and a strong advocate for seniors. Her commitment to inspire and motivate others and her active involvement in her community has led to a significant increase in the demand for her consulting, coaching and media skills.
